BIG MONEY being made off this one - Mayan apocalypse: panic spreads as December 21 nears

Let's see, how many times has the world ended by now ...

The Mayan have the best statement!

Mayans themselves reject any notion that the world will end. Pedro Celestino Yac Noj, a Mayan sage, burned seeds and fruits to mark the end of the old calender at a ceremony in Cuba. He said: "The 21st is for giving thanks and gratitude and the 22nd welcomes the new cycle, a new dawn."

Meanwhile in Mexico, where the ancient Mayan civilisation flourished, the end time has been seen as an opportunity. The country has organised hundreds of Maya-themed events, and tourism is expected to have doubled this year.

celebration in.

I'm not worried about it.
It reminds me of those people on the show "Doomsday bunkers". Those people have WAY too much time on their hands.

that the governments of countries where the remaining Mayans live are marketing this event but the Mayans themselves are getting little or nothing from the gains made. They aren't too happy about it either.

after all the knuckleheads paid big bucks for Y2K survival goods- I thought that it would be a good idea to get into the business to do the same thing with the Mayan calendar crowd...But- I never got off my butt, and now it's too late. Again.

maybe it's the weed...?

Netflix - mostly very silly documentaries, but there is also the fictional movie 2012, that has the whole "giant ships floating across the flooded Himalayas" thing going on.

If you are stupid enough to believe in conspiracy theories and the coming end of the world, you don't need money.
