Introducing Discussionist: A new forum by the creators of DU

We have to say, Hell, no, to changes in the Medicare eligibility age and Medicare/SS benefits.

Remember when GWB took his show on the road to try to privatize SS? And while I am no fan of his,
I could see a Dem doing that too.

But my point is, people let him know they weren't buying it.

I hope you all know that if you were born after 1937 they've already raised the eligibility age for FULL benefits for you. Go to this page and scroll down a little to see the table.

2. Why send it to my rep and Senators, they are Democrats and Obama is meeting only

with John of Orange to construct their own wee deal, Democrats are not invited to the 'negotiations' so my elected representative and Senators get no say at all. Only Bohener and Obama alone in a room get a say. Very secret, very anti transparency in government back room shennanigans and Cheney style secrecy.
