3. Yes, he does!

He's working on the skills!

My first thought was that our dogs would have LOVED this. My second thought was that he's going to be so disappointed when the lessons end and he realizes that they aren't really going to give him a license.

2. You won't catch them drunk driving or texting either! Designated driver potentials?

Thank you, woo!

17. Although, given the sheep population in NZ

Putting the sheep dogs on 4x4's would be awesome.

13. Dog seems to be loving it, too. :)

I can't get over the posture in the car. So human!

6. It's cute, but I'm generally against teaching more dogs to drive.

For one thing, it's been my observation that they never use their turn signals. And they always take up at least two parking spaces at the mall.

That said, he seems to be doing a better job than Toonces:

11. I suppose so.

Or the left side of the soccer field, anyway.

14. It would be terrible if one of those dogs got to America, though

Clearly, we need to be vigilant about left-side driving Kiwi dogs getting into this country and causing havoc on the roads!

10. On what, exactly?

Do you think they're giving them licenses?

Just teasing. Our dogs would absolutely be capable of mastering a gas and a brake and rudimentary steering, and they would LOVE it. Notice that they are driving on a lawn, not downtown in the business district.

It's a publicity stunt to get them adopted.
