Poor people don't give them millions of dollars in their campaigns to keep their seat in congress. Poor people don't take them on lavish "fact-finding" junkets and "trade missions" to exotic locales around the world. Poor people don't pay for them to play golf at courses that cost hundreds of dollars for a round of golf. Poor people don't invite them to parties where the spending on the food and drink is over-the-top excessive. Poor people don't buy them prostitutes and drugs and then use that fact to blackmail them later to get favorable votes.

No, poor people just want to find a job, have a warm place to live, and have their representatives, well, represent them. It just doesn't grock with most congress people outside representatives like Alan Grayson.
