What date does Congress break for Christmas?

Does that mean a deal has to be reached in less than two weeks?

Still a very "light" schedule in terms of "legislative" days. Of course, hearings can and are scheduled for days when the House isn't "in session" and as any current or former House staffer will tell you, its not as if everyone is sitting around eating chocolate candies when the House isn't in session.
