I DO feel that Democratics, Leftists, Liberals, Progressives - we've ALWAYS been about family . . . we've just never crafted the message very well.

Maybe it's my family background - but I don't want to live in a world where a poor brown woman has her children taken away JUST because she is poor and brown. It doesn't mean she loves them any less than a rich and white woman loves her kids. And that's how by and far - most of us on the left think.

Instead of using that against GingriNch in 1994 - we cowered liked sniveling little babies. Never that way pass again. I would love nothing more than the SHARP contrast being made between the type of husband and father and brother and son that President Obama is - and the type of all of those things GingriNch is.

So far as I can tell - if President Obama's sister came out of the closet tomorrow - he would EMBRACE her and support her publicly. She'd actually VOTE for her brother.

That's family - that's family values. GingrinCh would not and is not capable of behaving in a way of family first. It's not in his make up as a human being. He'd sell his own mother's soul to the devil to make a buck, get a blow job,win a vote. He would. He simply would.

that the Republican electorate becomes more enamored with the emotional hate for their opponent rather than the facts of the issues being discussed.
