Thank you ... Eric Cantor.

I have long stated, ALL elected officials should be required to place any prior held investments and moneys to be invested into a (true) blind trust ... not a "blind trust", like that of Mr. cantor (adminstered by his college buddy, who also is his personal attorney).

This is but another reason people spent $100s of millions to secure a $174,000/year job. It's like accepting a minimum wage job at a Casino with the understanding that you can calibrate the slot machine and can spend all day, everyday, for 4 years, playing those machines ... If you don't come away wealthy; you're an idiot.

As their employers, we should INSIST they spend at least 8 hours/day on the job and not allow spending any time while in the office begging for donations.

If we owned a business and our employees gave no more to their job than these clowns, we'd fire them. Why are we allowing their poor job performance now?

what a public servant woud ever make honestly. And he wasn't out and about anywhere else to make the money honestly.

His fortune when from $3.1 million to $27.2 million in 6 years in Congress. No doubt from bribes by lobbyists and insider trading of a sort.As posted upthread, we have Eric Cantorto thank for this state of affairs.

The line of perpetrators begins on the right>>>>>>>

If anyone wonders why I pick on the GOP so much, it's becasuse it really is their philosophy. Democrats believe in good governance. Republicans believe in what's good for them and want the government to go away so fhey can be richer, which is the Libertarian philosophy, too.

They whine that if they just didn't have to pay taxes and follow regulations, they'd all be rich. It's the 'parasites' and 'moochers' like the 47% who are keeping from becoming billionaires. Sick, but that's them.
