Associated Press: "Sen. John Kerry is angling to be the nation's top diplomat by being, well, diplomatic. The longtime Democratic lawmaker from Massachusetts has largely stayed quiet while President Obama considers him for the next secretary of state. Kerry has asked his supporters to avoid overt lobbying of the White House on his behalf. And he's defended his chief rival for the post, Susan Rice, amid Republican criticism of her initial explanation of the attack on Americans in Benghazi, Libya. Kerry's strategy reflects what people close to the senator say is his disdain for some aspects of Washington's personnel politics."

and he does not have flying monkeys.

This isn't new. Someone accused me yesterday at the orange board of being a "Kerry stooge" and of being my own sock puppet. That really is funny - like a US Senator is really going to pay me to post at DU and on the orange board.

Kerry is too much of a gentleman IMHO to be coordinating these scurrilous attacks on Rice so that he might be nominated. That is just not who he is IMHO.

That sort of thing happens during campaigns. I don't think that he would trash Susan Rice over this.

Has she offered any evidence? If not, it seems an irresponsible and inflammatory charge for the sake of sisterhood. It's a tactic likely to backfire on the sisters if suspicion is all she's got to go on. It's awfully easy to get carried away with random paranoid thoughts when you do talk radio for a living. Ask Rush.

Ever since she had the dust-up with Air America after she had that public appearance where she called everyone "whores." Since then, she's always been a little off...

It's a shame, because she had real talent to be nationwide, but she let her ego get in the way. I still listen to her on occasions, but I don't have the same level of respect for her that I used to.
