Joe Lieberman green lights Susan Rice (now that it won't do a damn bit of good)

A month before his retirement, when he won't get a vote on her Senate confirmation, he now says he has no problem with her being appointed Secretary of State.

Gee, thanks.

2. He's positioning himself for some appointment.

REthugs are ginning up to get John Kerry in as SOS. Kerry as much as I admire the man probably planted the idea in McCain's feeble brain...thinking that Scottie Boy gets back to the good ole boys club (Senate). Unfortunately Duvall Patrick would put a quick end ot that. Dems are not going to allow Brown back into the senate--they'll throw billions at this race to prevent that from happening. Rice may be done at this point. Interesting how Kerry has remained silent huh?
