On November 5th Fox Nation featured a thread with the presumptuous title: "ROMNEY WILL WIN" in its top spot.

Now to the comments:

When Õbama is defeated and gets back to Chicago, he's going to be the biggest race trouble maker in history. Jessi Jackson and Al Sharpton will pale in comparison.

It was along the lines of Obama is a failure and will lose in November. Hahaha. I wonder if the author deleted it by now.

I saw a thread on Free Republic a few days before the 2008 election asking "Who will win?" Every one of the hundreds of commenters said it would be McCain. Some said it would be a landslide, some said it would be close, but ALL agreed it was McCain for sure. This was at a time when every available poll showed Obama up by 10-12%.

The conservative capacity for self-delusion is simply unlimited. No WONDER the Fox "News" viewers were all so crushed on election night, if THIS is what they had been hearing in the runup to the vote!

I really think it's a strong trait of the conservative mind. It seems they are better than the average person at tossing out anything that doesn't fit their beliefs. And by "anything" I mean things like "facts" and "statistical data" or "scientific knowledge". It's really amazing. We all like to fool ourselves. I tell myself that double slice of thick crust pizza isn't fattening, but you know, deep down, I know and I can admit that. After I've eaten the pizza. But a conservative would probably eat that every day and then wonder why they were breaking the scale. Oh, and then blame it on Obama or Michelle's organic garden!

While the rushpublicans lost during the elections, Bullshit Mountain and hate radio won. They called the agenda...wrote the talking points...made the candidates dance and energized their small and shrinking "base". The got lots of money from the SuperPacs who bought billions in advertising time on Murdoch's broadcast outlets and drew eyeballs to his cable channel. From a business standpoint, it was "good business" as he surely made a nice chunk of change. The fleecing was complete on election night and with nowhere to turn the "base" continues to worship the altar of Faux noise in hopes that Ailes will once again lead them to the promised land. Fools...

His pic on the outside, the caption "4 More Weeks" on the inside, with a lipstick kiss and a "Cya!"

I gathered them all together, and threw them behind an office supply display. The display is still there, I bet the cards are too...

There was another bunch of huge asshole losers who thought their gig would last for a thousand years, too.

They didn't count on determined and unyielding people with a sense of morality and conscience.

Is the pure vile, naked racism displayed. That blindness is what causes them to get everything else wrong along the way. It is the racism that needs to be exposed rather than the yucking about how presumptuous they were.
