Grover Norquist says he'll go after pledge breakers, it is time to go after Grover.

Either Grover puts up the salaries of members of Congress ot shuts up.

1. If he goes after him, it will be time to go after legislators

who make pledges they think have more power than that of their oath of office.
And it will be time to see if Groves can't be brought up on some kind of charge of treason.

7. Everyone wants everyone else thrown in jail these days...

...which may explain our country seems to have an addiction to imprisoning people.

It is not against the law or constitution to be stupid, annoying, arrogant, or profoundly wrong.

Sometimes I don't express myself quite as well as I would like.
Thanks for pointing that out.

27. I;ve been thinking about Grover

and wondering...exactly who does he work for?
why does he have such power?
who is behind this inane 'pledge'?
what's it all about>?

2. What a monstrous ego on this turd!

The unmitigated gall of this ass, that he really thinks it's up to him in any way, shape, or form. Last I knew, he hasn't been elected to anything in the last twenty years, so his "say" in government is necessarily limited to his individual vote, and not to some arbitrary pledge which he seeks to use to usurp the rightful, constitutional powers of Congress to tax and spend.

grover promotes Sharia Law because he is a Muslim and is married to a Muslim
something that many republicans do not know

18. Woah... I just checked...

I didn't know he was Muslim.

Not that it matters, but, that is still very interesting to me.
As for backing Sharia law, I don't see that in particular.

9. Who elected him to any office?

He is part of a group that included Ralph Reed, Abramoff and Rove. Those four have done an enormous amount of harm to this country.

11. "Unclean! Unclean!" shouts Grover the Fuzzy.

Ultimately, Norquist downplayed the talk from Graham and King on breaking the pledge as just that talk.

"No pledge taker has voted for a tax increase. You've had some people discussing impure thoughts on national television," he said.

The man is losing it.

Let him leave the "dream" of a society with an absence of a functioning state apparatus.

13. Who died and left him in charge?

Nobody elected Grover Norquist, so no one has to obey his edicts.

What's he going to do? Send his terrorist buddies from the Middle East to whack Congress?

17. I think that what he does is fund primary challengers.

As far as I can tell, the chief aim of most politicians who are elected to office is to stay in that office, to keep getting elected.
So Norquist is taking aim at their desire to stay in office; evidently he can mobilize big money to fund primary opponents. He can deny money to people who step out of line.
He will whack Congress in their most precious part - getting reelected.

15. Norquist has never been elected to any office yet he thinks he has the right to

THREATEN our elected representatives????

He needs to be prosecuted for making terrorist threats for this. And his followers need to be prosecuted for treason for giving more allegiance to this freak than to their own oaths of office and the US Constitution.

This monster needs to be stopped, he is in a sense a pseudo fascist ruler as he is controlling the members of Congress.

22. Infiltrated by capitalists!

Our government has been infiltrated by members of an organization to which they are more loyal than they are to the people or to government itself. Reminds me of the old Red Scare talk, slightly inverted. Instead of Dirty Commies, we've been infiltrated by Dirty Cappies.

is the one they make to the American people as a whole.

But the PUKES no nothing about real honor.
