McLaughlan group today-John's prediction-Hillary will be the winner in 2016

on the panel today (11/25 CBS 630am edt)
Michelle said "Hillary Clinton will be the 2016 democratic nominee"

John McLaughlan the host of the show said "And I will piggyback off of you and say Hillary Clinton will go on to win the general election"

(just saw it on tv, don't know if there is a link yet for this, I have never been able to find links to the show the same day).

2. Back to the Future

Personally I'd prefer to look to the future rather than the past, remember Hillary voted for the IWR, arguably the worst foreign policy bungle in US history.

Edited for phrasing.

11. all eyes on the king

Personally, I would rather talk about something meaningful. Like the supposed fiscal cliff, or re-taking the House in 2014.

Speculation about the frigging Presidency is so useless.

Any thoughts on who will run in 2020? How about 2024? Chelsea Clinton in 2028? Lord knows we need a royal family. How about Carter IV? How old is he? What about Justin Bieber? Because, lord knows, we need government to be run by rich celebrities. That's how democracy is supposed to work.

15. Justin Bieber for Pres.

It does feel like that sometimes when the Clinton name is put out there. Like she is the only qualified one and it's her turn, by golly! you sexist piglet! - it's such bullshit and years more of this b.s. is going to be painful.

New blood is needed, much like Obama gave us his, someone that is not stuck in the past and counting on laurels from decades ago. Obama can give her all the tech and advice about his brilliant campaigning but if the head cheese don't Got It, then all that is pretty well useless. Obama happened to Have It, Hillary does not.

6. The Bush name is too toxic for national politics

If Jeb Bush wants to get back into politics, I suggest he move to Texas soon, before it turns blue too
and run for Gov. Someone has to follow in Rick Perry's footsteps, someone who doesn't mind lots of executions.

5. Apparently he doesn't think much of Martin OMalley's poking around in IA.

Admittedly, I have not noticed much other obvious positioning, but then I wouldn't see anything that wasn't in the news.

I'm not convinced that it takes all the years on the front end that John Edwards or Mitt Romney committed to it.

and rightly so

We cannot give the repubs the opening

and we won't.

If Jeb runs, Texas won't be blue, and Castro should go for VP

If its not thought Jeb would run, Castro would be governor and should stay there to make Texas blue.

You gotta figure with Jeb both Texas and Florida can't be considered blue
