they did change my gas tank so it wouldn't explode. It was a great car....it was dented all over. Every BMW and Mercedes got out of my way.

I appreciated that the gov't made Ford change the gas tank.

Regulation is part of life...you a-hole, repugnants. Get used to it. If not, you'd all be dead.

The problem is that so many today regard "markets" and "capitalism" as synonymous... to the great detriment of markets.

If you want to see the effects of unregulated capitalism, read The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.

Or read "Sgt. Piggy's Lonely Hearts Club Comic" by Stephan Pastis, paying extra attention to Rat's forays into business. He enjoys stomping his competition and raising prices for no reason while giving increasingly bad service...exactly what real capitalists do when left alone.
