I miss that one that he used to use in the 2008 campaign and into 2009 whenever he spoke of the importance of active parents in education. But it seems to have been phased out of his speeches.

(1,598 posts)And understand this: If American workers are being denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when Im in the White House,
Ill put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself, Ill walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States of America. Because
workers deserve to know that somebody is standing in their corner.

(10,745 posts)I agree with Fumesucker, it probably turned quite a few people off because the latter half of it actually does sound like a Republican talking point, when you think about it. I guess the President caught on.

(25,319 posts)I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I
wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and
guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill,
KILL, KILL."
And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and
he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down
yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me,
sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."
