Whatever happened to that Obama talking point about "turn off the TV set, put away the video games?"

I miss that one that he used to use in the 2008 campaign and into 2009 whenever he spoke of the importance of active parents in education. But it seems to have been phased out of his speeches.

“And understand this: If American workers are being denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when I’m in the White House,
I’ll put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself, I’ll walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States of America. Because
workers deserve to know that somebody is standing in their corner.”

I agree with Fumesucker, it probably turned quite a few people off because the latter half of it actually does sound like a Republican talking point, when you think about it. I guess the President caught on.

I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I
wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and
guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill,
KILL, KILL."

And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and
he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down
yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me,
sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."
