1. Yep. I am not myself a religious person,

but because I have a job where I deal with the public, people often say things to me such as "Have a blessed day", or some similar sentiment. I always choose to take it in the manner intended: as good wishes to me. That I am quite certain I do not share that person's philosophical or religious viewpoint is totally irrelevant.

I've gotten an occasional "FUCK OFF!" but most people appreciate it.

5. We sometimes say "and may the force be with you"...it is not meant to be disparaging...

just a geeky response to "bless you or blessed day".
