The "takers" outnumber the "producers" now

"People voted for Obama because they want 'free' stuff".

What is this code language?
What is the translation?

It's remarkable to me that I have a relative who says this crap.

Here's the hypocrisy:
He borrowed against his house (to the max) during the housing bubble. Bought a new car and fancy vacations overseas. Then when the market crashed guess what? Yep, the house foreclosed and he filed bankruptcy. If I hear one more "free stuff" sentence from him about Obama I think I will ask him who he thinks paid for his car and vacations. He voted Romney...shocker.

People like this are mentally dim.

1. The companies paid for his losses.

He didn't get "free stuff," technically speaking.

But I've had people talk about the deadbeats, while they themselves were on Social Security disability, once got food stamps, women who married multiple times to get a free meal and not have to work (my brother's wives), etc.

Yeah, two faced, to say the least.

2. Who pays the debt after a bankruptcy?

Wasn't his enormous debt absorbed by society at large?

9. The co. that owns the debt suffers the loss.

Of course, you could follow it through the chain of expenses, and it goes into the basket of company expenses, that then get passed on to consumers, like other expenses (payroll taxes, shoplifting losses, bankruptcy losses, cost of inventory, etc.).

It's possible companies have insurance to protect about that, but I don't know.

3. Free stuff? We pay for it. With all the tax money we pay the Govt it SHOULD go to

programs that help people and make society better for all. It beats using tax dollars for bombs to kill people. Taxes are inevitable, do these people rather pay taxes and get nothing in return, or pay taxes and create a better society??

4. An ignorant, spiteful putdown from the cracked...

...doesn't mean what they think it means. It's just another symptom of the pathetic spiral Republicans are in. Watching Republicans now is getting hard. It's like watching someone vomit on themselves repeatedly.

Not deregulation or "predatory" loans.

8. Froductivity has increased by a factor or 4 since WW II

IOW one person can now make what it used to take four to make. What do the remaining "makers" have in mind for the surplus three people-turning them into Soylent Green? Gassing them for being "useless eaters?"
