Where the camping was not as well established. It's sad to see the little kids have been doing this for years, way to raise the young.

2. Here's my short-take on it...

From the consumer: "I'm willing to engage in a strange behavior that enriches the few at the expense of the many. Yay me."

From the merchant to the consumer: "Sucker. Enjoy the campout. Yay me."

Evidently, it's a win-win scenario. I, of course, think it's crap.

But then I'm an old coot who remembers what Thanksgiving used to be.
