So who is looking forward to Inauguration Day?

I know I am. And I will not let anybody rain on my parade.

1. I'm considering attending. We should have a DU meet-up.

2. You know, I've been thinking about attending myself. I may not be around to see another and

he is my favorite. A meetup would be great.

6. I am looking forward to it, but

to be honest, I don't really understand the point of second inaugurations. Obviously, the president has to be sworn in again, but I don't see why it's such a big event the second time around, when there is no change in power going on.

I went in 2009 and it was amazing but I probably won't go again. I no longer live in the DC area, and I have had medical issues that would make it tough. But I am looking forward to watching the president's speech, which I will probably be able to hear better on TV than I could at the event in 2009.
