Democratic party Presidents rise to the Presidency

with a strong desire to do what is right for the country and more important to us the citizens. On the other hand when a republiCON makes his way to the white house he brings so much baggage with him that it is impossible for him to be anything other than for the rich and the rich only.
Why does any of the 99% vote for a republiCON? Without some of us they can never get to the oval office. I just don't understand the thinking that goes with those decision.
