3. Yep. Many will change to moderate terms and tone...

... but will still be proposing the exact same destructive agenda.

And they'll say, "See? We're new and improved!"

They only think they failed at marketing. Americans need to let them know they're losing because their product sucks.

5. So true! From what I've gathered by listening to and reading lots of their assessments,

they aren't learning ANYTHING from this election. They're overwhelmingly of the opinion that they didn't message clearly enough or well enough or simply enough or blah-blah-blah. They just don't get it. Probably because they innately don't want to. If they really wanted to learn and benefit, they'd realize that they simply have to change their ideas. paul ryan is, as usual, self-deluded when he states that the bottles of snake oil they were selling to the electorate were popular ideas. They're NOT. If they were, we'd now be calling him Vice President-Elect paul ryan. The denial just keeps on keepin' on.

It's not HOW they messaged that sucked. It's WHAT they messaged that sucked. And WHAT they messaged continues to suck to this very moment!

6. comment from a friend of mine!

Bill W : New and improved Republican Party : We LOVE women, but still want to curtail their rights. We LOVE minorities, as long as they do not vote. We LOVE workers, as long as we can send their jobs to China. We LOVE the elderly, as long as we can gut their Social Security and Medicare. We LOVE homosexuals, as long as we can pray their gay away. We LOVE the poor and the sick, as long as they do not want to be fed or healed. We LOVE America, as long as we can rape her public lands for private profits and pollute her air and water. We LOVE our soldiers, as long as they do not expect us to remember them after the war. Wow, I am so fucking impressed.

7. They're engaged in infighting over whether the problem was the message or the messenger

Or whether it was their lack of effectiveness in delivering their message.

The GOP will be doing some retrenching. If they do it well, they'll come out stronger and will be competitive. If not, they'll continue to lose elections and may face a 3rd party challenge. They really need to decide whether or not they want the "inmates" running the asylum.
