Introducing Discussionist: A new forum by the creators of DU

So, starting December 6th, any Colorado resident over 21 can grow their own pot!!

And "gift" an ounce to anyone over 21!

Washington's Law still does not allow personal growth.

I can see a lot of "gifting" happening in Colorado.

The feds cannot deal with this much pot.

1. the feds don't een go after grow operations that are less than 100 plants

Max plants in CO is 6. With proper management and rotation, that's easily 2 ounces each week.

7. That is one of the flaws of the Washington state initiative.

In their desire to craft a winning proposition, proponents of I-502 gave up personal cultivation. They also inserted a problematic drugged driving provision in it. They said they needed that to win, but Colorado's initiative didn't have that provision, and it still won.
