There is a way to handle defeat gracefully.

But Mitt Romney never does anything gracefully.

That speech in which he blamed his loss on "gifts" Barack Obama gave to voters certainly had some truth to it. But that truth was better left uttered by others.

For Romney to engage in excuse-making just makes him look like a sore loser.

What he should engage in is some examination of the reason he lost this race:

He's not a very good liar.

No it didn't. It was complete racist classist bullshit. And he refuses to talk about the REAL "gifts" that go to his corporate cronies like subsidizing oil companies that make $10 billion PROFIT per QUARTER or allowing his ass not to pay any taxes for 10 years. In fact, those weren't just "gifts", they were pure highway robbery from our treasury.

When candidates run for office, the make campaign "promises"

It was Romney that campaigned that Obama didn't keep his 'promises" from 2008.

But now they are gifts?
