Police Link Skull Found in Oxnard Trash Bin to Death Shrine

Human remains found in an Oxnard trash bin Thursday probably came from an altar used to pray to an occult saint of death, police said.

Discovered in a metal trash container near the intersection of Fourth and D streets, the remains were first reported by a passerby just after 9:30 a.m.

The bones were likely used by criminals, according to Oxnard police Detective Luis McArthur.

1. Why would they

so unceremoniously throw a skull in the trash, if they had a "death shrine"?

2. My read, they lost protection from it

no, I am not kidding...

In other words, a few arrests came... and this amulet is no longer doing it's job.

It is a very strange ... cult...

3. The skull was tapped out of magical powers, huh...

I wonder how they reached that very scientific conclusion.
So many weirdos living on this planet, it's staggering to think about!

4. Yup, it was tapped out

it is how they obtain their wonderful skulls that should scare people. Ok, some are dug out at cemeteries, resurrection men in the modern sense. Others, come from murder victims that become unwitting donors. A few are bought from collectors, or medical collections.

I am sure the police will be looking over a few cold cases, and private collections.

No, this does not make me a happy camper

I usually do not recommend Wiki, but this one is still an acceptable intro

5. So it was left at a crossroads

Or it was put there to do a job. I know quite a few upper class professionals who have shrines but no human bones.

6. In my experience the bones are usually connected to

The criminal elements. Not all who practice it are...and it crosses all kinds of social strata.
