What valuable Romney Ideas was Obama talking about?

In yesterday's press conference Obama stated that he wanted to meet with Romney in order to discuss Romney's ideas on fiscal matters. He even suggested that such a meeting would take place before the year is out.

I haven't the slightest idea what Obama was talking about. About the only thing I can think of is 'closing loopholes' and Romney never went further that saying those two words. Obama did mention Romney's management of the Olympics but that included garnering vast amounts of Federal funding, something that Romney also done as a Governor, but this strategy can't solve Federal budget problems.

Can anyone on DU suggest what valuable strategies Obama might have been referring to?
Could it all have been lip service to 'bi-partisanship'?

3. Here's what he said (and it was in response to a question):

Nancy Cordes.

Q Mr. President, on Election Night, you said that you were looking forward to speaking with Governor Romney, sitting down in the coming weeks to discuss ways that you could work together on this nation's problems. Have you extended that invitation? Has he accepted? And in what ways do you think you can work together?

THE PRESIDENT: We haven't scheduled something yet. I think everybody forgets that the election was only a week ago and -- I know I've forgotten. I forgot on Wednesday. (Laughter.) So I think everybody needs to catch their breath. I'm sure that Governor Romney is spending some time with his family.

And my hope is, before the end of the year, though, that we have a chance to sit down and talk. There are certain aspects of Governor Romneyís record and his ideas that I think could be very helpful.

Q Such as?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, to give you one example, I do think he did a terrific job running the Olympics. And that skill set of trying to figure out how do we make something work better applies to the federal government. There are a lot of ideas that I donít think are partisan ideas but are just smart ideas about how can we make the federal government more customer friendly; how can we make sure that weíre consolidating programs that are duplicative; how can we eliminate additional waste. He presented some ideas during the course of the campaign that I actually agree with. So it would be interesting to talk to him about something like that. There may be ideas that he has with respect to jobs and growth that can help middle-class families that I want to hear.

So Iím not either prejudging what heís interested in doing, nor am I suggesting Iíve got some specific assignment. But what I want to do is to get ideas from him and see if there are some ways that we can potentially work together.

6. absolutely nothing specific about Romney's Ideas ...

Outside of the Olympics.
I am totally without a clue on this.
"And that skill set of trying to figure out how do we make something work better applies to the federal government."

Vague? Maybe to the point of meaningless.

5. Class

Which the President has and in my opinion was trying to be gracious in his trampling of Romney he wanted to make Romney feel relevant and useful ala he saved the Olympics...but now that he was such a racist troll in the statement he gave yesterday let him lay in the trash like the discarded ass wipe he truly is...

8. I was thinking in that direction but ....

If Obama had nothing specific to adopt, why say anything at all?
There is nothing in Obama's statement that would not exclude an endorsement of medicare vouchers, for example.
At Lincoln's second inaugural address he spoke about binding wounds but he did not say that the South had a lot of good ideas.

9. Personally I think President Obama

was just trying to be classy and nice because the assinine media kept pushing him on this.

I know he might have mentioned something about it in his victory speech but that's just being a gracious winner.

He couldn't very well say why the hell would I want to take any ideas from that looser. Now I probably would have said something like that, but that's why I will never be President.

12. Romney's skill set...

Is to take over faltering companies and fire their employees. Maybe that's what Obama could to do to the GOP! A faltering party that needs to be wiped out and start fresh.
