Patraeus helped Kelley get Honorary Counsel position

http://www.tampabay.com/news/military/macdill/jill-kelley-outraged-other-military-liaisons-with-her-flirty-ways/1261619

"he saw Kelley, 37, at numerous events and she was invariably "loud, ostentatious and reveling."

"she told him she had obtained the position with the help of Petraeus"

"Kelley mentioned her fee if any deal was brokered $80 million. The fee was so unrealistic and excessive, Victor said, he immediately realized he was dealing with an amateur"

1. Of course, she might have been just name-dropping.

She sounds like a heavy-duty name-dropper, social climber, and generally annoying person. Whether or not Petraeus had anything to do with getting some bogus "honorary consul" position, though, it does seem like he was palling around with lunatics. It also sounds like security was pretty damn loose at McDill if they were letting this Jill Kelley have free access.

3. Meanwhile, you and I cannot move 10 feet in an airport without being molested by TSA.

While a whole gaggle of bimbos enjoy unlimited access to the high ranking military of the Mid East war zones.

Security my ass.

4. If she was just at the White House in September

I want to know who she visited.

"Btw I was made the (honorary) Ambassador to US Central Command's Coalition!" she told a Times reporter in a Sept. 28 e-mail. "In addition to that, I was just recently appointed to be the Honorary Consulate General to South Korea! I'm in DC today just left from breakfast at the White House.... I really hope to see you soon!"blockquote]

5. another interesting article

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-cia-scandal-20121115,0,5234898.story?page=2

"Kelley, the wife of a cancer surgeon, has a thin resume, a troubled family, shaky finances and a reputation for being, as one acquaintance here put it, "Tampa Kardashian."

"Even before the scandal broke, she had begun to wear out her welcome... Her constant presence caused some officers' aides to worry about the appearance of an attractive, outgoing woman cozying up to senior military leaders"

"City police also received dozens of calls from the Kelleys. Their police file, released Wednesday, fills nearly 100 pages, with reports of bike thefts, burglaries, prowlers and harassing callers."

9. Whaaa

>>> So they were living for free at the banks expense apparently, and the calls to the cops were surely about insurance fraud so they could make claims

Real charmers! Will they ever pay the piper?

I love the 80 million dollar price for simply introducing parties to a deal, a nut case

12. It looks like they have not made a house payment in over 3 years.

I guess paying your mortgage is just for the little people - the 47%.

11. Certainly not this man.

It's a valid question though: why would top military brass put up with a woman whose actions and demeanor seem to contradict the (ostensibly) rigid, disciplined ways of the military? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that there is still more to this story.

Why would Petraeus help her become an honorary consul? What was he getting in return?
