Here's an interesting petition to the Obama administration I found on the WhiteHouse.gov website. I'm inclined to sign it, but am a bit reluctant not knowing what the potential personal fallout could be. Not excited about being placed on some "list" myself for signing it.
Your thoughts?

(18,672 posts)This whole secession thing is ridiculous and childish. And I read the other day that studies have show that people are getting dumber. Coincidence?

(2 posts)Mostly because it's gaining headway the fastest, though it says about the same thing. I just read an article that referred to petitions like these as "trolling." I think that the people who start petitions, like these two, are actually serious. These people are the ones holding us back as a nation. Why would we be able to exile them? Well we probably can't. Then again they are attempting to divide the Union and could be considered National Dissenters.
I have no doubt in my mind that everybody who wants to deport hard working families from this country because they are not legal, are the same people starting and signing these petitions to secede. If they are no longer happy to live here, and these immigrants are; fair is fair. Let the happy immigrants stay and deport the National Dissenters, even if that means Cordoning of a little chunk of of the South and letting them start from scratch.
