Exhausting day in clinic today. Some very complex, time-consuming patients. Hold me...

And not a drop of alcohol in the house for a nightcap...

6. Thank you.

It was a good day, though. I feel as though I provided good quality care. I just had so many complex patients. One patient alone had diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, headaches, and anxiety. And those were the chronic problems. Today I followed up on all of those, and diagnosed him with acute prostatitis.

Whew!

This afternoon, it took me two hours to visit with three patients...

BTW, welcome to DU! Good to have you here!

15. It's not that I 'get' to. It's that I had to.

It's not a luxury if I have to stay an hour and a half after the clinic closes in order to get everything done.

2. My dear Aristus...

I'm sorry your day was so exhausting. But I'm sure your patients were awfully glad you were there, taking care of them!

12. Thank you, ananda.

I think it was so busy mostly because it was the first clinic day after a three-day weekend. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a little more relaxed.

I'm hoping...

9. Sorry, Baby. As my grandmother used to say,

Some days you gets the bear, some days the bear gets you. I feel ya. But thanks to you someone's day has gone WAY better than it might have.

Here's a little balm.
