Isn't it true that these petitions send to the WH to secede are signed by anyone

not just say everyone on the Texas petition are from Texas? Anyone can sign this right? So it might be the same people signing these different states petitions?

1. They aren't signed by anyone

it's just an online poll AFAIC. It doesn't matter where you're from or who you are. If you clear cookies or use a proxy server you can probably sign it a couple of hundred times yourself.

2. From what I've heard, there are out-of-state sigs

on most of the petitions.

5. There absolutely are.

I've only seen one of these petitions (Texas) - believe it was linked here on DU a few days ago. But almost all of the "signatures" that I saw were from outside of Texas.

3. I signed the ones from every state but my own!

It shows the state you come from on the list. I think it would be funny if most of the signatures were from people out of state.

4. Exactly. I'm not certain, but I believe the Oregon and NJ petitions were started that way.

By residents of other states. Because that's helpful.

These people are bitter nuts. Maybe squirrels will come to take them away a la Willy Wonka's factory.

6. We must take responsibility for our fate!

We cannot count on a successful secession campaign ... we must be pro-active, we must be decisive, we must act now and support our red state bros!!!!!! By starting petitions by which we DEMAND that they be EXPELLED from the union with all possible speed! This is our best opportunity to rid ourselves of these puked gutted knuckle dragging Confederate wannabes. We cannot let this chance slip through our fingers! WE MUST ACT!

Just kidding, of course. Well, half kidding.

7. Let's just say, for the sake of argument

You were putting together a list of people to send off to re-education camps after you grabbed their guns. Wouldn't you just love it when they voluntarily signed up?
