To CEOs who think the solution to Obama's win is downsizing the number of employees...

Really?

You think that's a smart idea bragging to the public about how you think it's fucked up that Obama won, Healthcare is here to stay and now you have to deal with healthcare for your employees. You think that bitching and groaning about it is somehow good public relations?

I've worked the hospitality business and I've worked retail. I know how the system works and sometimes stores might be barely making a profit and might question how they can stay viable while making healthcare affordable to their employees. Honestly, I'd love for further discussions on options or perhaps creating a giant healthcare plan that could be made for anyone in these types of businesses because we know the more people on a policy the lower the rates. Thing is this - there are options other than being a dickhead.

But instead for several CEOs they have been dickheads. Papa John's Pizza (which btw was one of the few chain pizza places I actually liked) said they would cut back employee hours and Applebee says they won't open anymore stores. A few business even claim they are firing people especially those they think may have voted for Obama.

Now to those dickhead CEOs ask yourself this - what incentive are you giving to the millions of people, people who voted for Obama or support affordable healthcare, to actually BUY your products. When you go on the internet on in the news and basically say "I'm such a soreloser douchebag that I'm gonna piss off my employees just because I am a dickbag loser" do you think people like myself will want to continue buying your product? I mean I'm not exactly eating pizza everyday or dining at Applebees on a regular basis but there does come a time that me and my friends do consider buying pizza or dining out and I can assure you we won't patronize places owned by Douchebags. I mean, I don't care if the CEO voted for Romney but to be an asshole - well that's a hard limit for many of us.

And BTW you COULD host some sort of Appreciation Day. I'm sure Mike Huckabee would be happy to get on Faux News and promote your business for a day. Guess what - that'll be one nice day of sales but will hardly offset the massive slump of a boycott. Even the president of Chik-fil-a met with college leaders on LBGT issues because in the end he realized he had to do something to turn around the slump (click here)

Who I do feel bad for are the employees because many of them are going to be hurt not by the CEO but by boycotts. I hope that the local businesses that do receive increased support from those boycotting these business with CEO assholes consider hiring former employees!

That's for sure. First of all, they're pissing off a large number of future customers -AND- I wouldn't want to sink my fortune on a company that shifts with the political winds.

These fools are going to end up with Bain Capital on their doorsteps, and they'll deserve it.

"What a welcome, what a place this is. My goodness. Who would have imagined pizza could build this, you know that? This is really something. Don’t you love this country? What a home this is, what grounds these are, the pool, the golf course. You know if a Democrat were here he’d look around and say no one should live like this, you know? Republicans come here and say everyone should live like this, all right. This is a real tribute to America, to entrepreneurship."

I don't know why some people are so greedy, demanding health care and all.
