Fool Howard Fineman thinks OBAMA will be damaged by the RW Petraus scandal!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/howard-fineman/david-petraeus-morality-play_b_2119081.html

The so-called “liberal media” are so predictable. Howard “Blue-dress” Fineman sees a bunch of RW Republicans acting very badly, so of course he thinks Obama must somehow be at fault and therefore that he will be damaged by the whole scandal.

David Petraeus Morality Play Offers More Comic Hypocrisy Than Hollywood
by Howard Fineman

WASHINGTON -- The Showtime series "Homeland" strikes many viewers as preposterously far-fetched. But it's gritty and realistic compared with the "Odyssey of Petraeus," a fabulous Greek morality play about hubris that has the potential to inflict serious collateral damage on the just-re-upped Obama administration.

The story teaches an old lesson: It's virtually impossible to overstate the comical hypocrisy of our leaders, especially those lionized to the point of canonization by a credulous media in search of uplift.

The other lesson is for presidents: Just when you think that you've "won" and can kick back and watch ESPN, a story blows up that reminds you what you didn't like about the job in the first place.

"Howard Fineman Howard Fineman ?@howardfineman

It's not scientific or quantifiable by Nate Silver but Des Moines Register endorsement of Mitt first time it's' clear O may lose the race."

After he did this, I tend to laugh at anything Fineman says.

Newspaper endorsements never have meant much, and now they mean less. Our still-daily AustinAmerican Statesman has dropped presidential endorsing altogether.

Mitt got his ass kicked and the handwringing continues...it's now probably an attempt to save face by projecting RW bullshit onto the President.

the fact that RW mouthpieces are trying to shut this down and make excuses for Petraeus tells me that there is something there.

This is a huge RW scandal with major players. Hopefully they will all go down.

Cantor is the one who needs to be frightened. He is the one who KNEW and failed to tell the ranking officials on the Intelligence Committee. He planned on using the information politically--national security be damned.

and maybe even keep Petraus off the campaign trail, where he would have stumped for Republicans and where he would be positioned to run for president in 2016.
