Could this be the missing link? The world's first Teabagger?

http://gawker.com/5959783/28-years-ago-the-today-show-aired-the-greatest-interview-in-television-history

I saw this on Facebook. The interview is 28 years old. Maybe THIS is where the Teabaggers germinated? The subject of this interview is certainly no more loony than the rest of them...........

7. Not easy to keep a straight face, is it?

Pity the poor interviewer. He must have felt like the high school principal in "Porky's" when Miss Ballbreaker tried to get him to expel Tommy Turner.

10. I love her.

She's funny and brilliant. When all was said and done, she got on the Today Show because of her toaster.

11. 30 years ago, 15 minutes of fame was fleeting

These days, if you're famous for as long as 15 minutes, you've got staying power.
