What was that guy's name again? Jeff Gannon? I don't think it was his real name. A fake reporter who was really a call boy at the Bush White House, who outed himself by asking a stupid question at a press conference.
I spent days reading all the details here at DU, and now I can't remember them! Information overload, I guess. |

after all!!!
I can't stop wondering... maybe she's the mole, but I was thinking it was the general. Or maybe it's both of them, I have had serious misgivings about how the general smoothed into the CIA after having a hissy fit about Obama's ideas about ending the wars the that general was in charge of. I wouldn't have trusted him (perhaps he was put there to keep and eye on him?). Still, something smells real bad here. So, according to some, the general wasn't popular in that agency and if there was an FBI investigation, they would have had to be asked to investigate since the CIA normally does its own security in-house. Apparently they weren't happy about something and outing him was possibly an in-house ruse for reasons yet to be discovered outside of Langley. Perhaps he is a mole for someone and folks in the agency discovered that he was and would have been a proverbial stab-on-the-back at the Congressional hearing this week...? |

48. The reason the FBI did the investigating was because an official at STATE
|
requested it, owing to the harassing and batshit crazy emails she was receiving about the CIA Director from this woman.
The investigation wasn't done by CIA because the request didn't come from there--it came from State. The woman at State was not, we are given to understand, another paramour, she was a family friend of both the General and his wife, but apparently the biographer-paramour had "the wrong idea" about her and was sending her angry, jealous "get your hands off my man" emails. |

73. Yes--you're quite right...UNLESS.... .... .... ???
|
I have a strong feeling there is a third person in this mix.
I think that Petraeus and Broadwell parted ways (who did the dumping is a question, certainly) and another paramour (not Kelley) for Petraeus came upon the scene. I think Broadwell may have THOUGHT Kelley was the new paramour...but that was just a case of mistaken identity. I do think Broadwell was angry at the termination of the relationship and wanted to lash out at a perceived rival for Raddled Davey's affections. I think she sensed or knew there WAS a rival, she just screwed up in figuring out who that rival was. I could be totally off base on this, but I keep getting a sense that something on those lines is up. If this is the case, I would have to go for the "Where there's smoke, there's fire" arguments. If Horny Dave has had more than one paramour (supposedly) in the scant year since he left the military, then I'd say he has a pattern happening, and it might not be a bad idea to go back and interview women who served on his general staffs (no snarky remarks now) down the years. I'm starting to wonder if this kind of behavior is a new thing with him...or is he simply a more discreet version of General "Pervert" Sinclair? I think the suggestion that this affair started AFTER he left service strains credulity, despite the careful insistence of his former aide/chief of staff (whatever that poor idiot in the red-white-blue costume was who was quoted on the news). Of course, if he was frigging in the rigging during his acdu days, he could (not must, but could) be recalled to accept punishment for that conduct. Commonly, when they take that sort of step, it involves a reduction in rank to the last rank held honorably--so he'd be getting 3 star retirement instead of 4. He'd have maxed out the pay scale at that rank, so he still wouldn't starve. Who knows, maybe that second (speculated) paramour is at...State? One has to wonder why State was dragged in, in those early reports in the first place...it would be interesting to see who traveled to Egypt and Libya with him--those travel orders and trip report that Feinstein wanted might tell a tale or two. |

34. Whatever that look is saying,

I can tell that there's something unbelievably, terribly fishy going on. And it just feeds my sense that there was a "fix" supposed to happen on Tuesday that didn't happen. Otherwise, these clowns would not have been so cavalier to leave such a trail of incriminating evidence in their wake... I just can't see how they would have been so stupid, they must have thought they'd never be found out... if they had managed to be the victors in the election Only, that's not what happened. Now all the evidence of their incredible hubris is telling on them from all directions... and I think it's a really small circle of friends that are now scrambling to cover up their role in this, this... whatever it is that we'll soon find out about. I feel it has something to do with an election issue and now their trying to shuffle the general into a safe zone to shield him from bigger, uglier discoveries that could land many of them in the federal pen. And since they're all friends, even those who get the unpleasant media coverage, I'm sure there will be some consolation prize for them, but it will be the women who are designated to take the fall. Notice all the tisking that is barely noticeable among the praise for the male component of this debacle in the works?

I've never heard of it but it seems to be a bi-partisan organization according to their website. What would she be doing at such a conference, I wonder.
http://www.ncsl.org/about-us.aspx "...The National Conference of State Legislatures is a bipartisan organization that serves the legislators and staffs of the nation's 50 states, its commonwealths and territories. NCSL provides research, technical assistance and opportunities for policymakers to exchange ideas on the most pressing state issues. NCSL is an effective and respected advocate for the interests of state governments before Congress and federal agencies. NCSL is your organization. The leadership of NCSL is composed of legislators and staff from across the country. The NCSL Executive Committee provides overall direction on operations of the Conference. ..." |

First Cantor knew about it before the Whitehouse from a whistle blower.
Congress did not know about it before the resignation. She had her picture taken with a known traitor that outed a CIA operation then has an affair with the head of the CIA The CIA and intelligence community has/ and may continue to have security leaks. This all occurs during a Presidential election. This really really reeks. Something is seriously wrong. |
