Before the election... I heard several folks that I work with state that they would vote for Mitt Romney.
After the election... some of the same people have told me that they voted for someone else. A couple have stated that Rosanne Barr was on the presidential ticket, and they voted for her. Didn't notice... But the point is, they're not owning up to voting for Mitt Romney.
I say it again... I just can't understand how ANYONE could have voted for Mitt Romney.
I was in high school in the 70's. I lived in a very industrial city in the mid-west. Terre Haute, Indiana. Most of us grew up knowing that we'd go to work in one of the factories in the city. By the time we graduated high school, a number of the factories had closed (Reganomics). I had to leave my home town to find work.
Mitt Romney, and those like him, have made a fortune putting Americans OUT of work. What the hell is wrong with Americans that they would vote for anyone who earns money putting Americans out of work is beyond me.
But... have some conviction folks. If you voted for the man, stand tall and own up to it... Unless you are too ashamed, which I'm sure is the case.

(3,879 posts)but few people would admit to having voted for him after 1974. It's like people who say they don't listen to Rush Limbaugh, but they spew all his talking points.
