1. On the photo

right click, then copy the address that is listed in "Properties." Paste the address in your draft post, and it should work.

20. Don't copy the URL from the Google image search. Instead...

Copy just the image address from the picture.

7. is it easier than tinypic.com? I have that and the process is time consuming to upload photos

even tho I arrange my photos in folders for special usage of related images here on DU. It always scrambles the images I have so carefully laid out in my folder! Is there something easier than tinypic?

Even on simply uploads it can take a lot of time just getting it all right...

4. First, you have to have a place online to store it.

I have storage space linked to my broadband account but, I believe other people use Photobucket. Once the photo is online, you only need to link to it in your post and it will appear. You can hit the preview button to make sure it worked.

5. it has to already be online and the address end in .jpg or another photo extention

then just paste the address into your post

if you don't have a photo bucket or other free photo account you'll need to start one, or if you want to post something you found on the web, just right click the pic, copy the address and paste into your post

hope that helps!

I used TinyPic Free Image Hosting - very easy - here's the link to it. First You have to save the photo on your desktop.

25. TEST pic. --Notice how POTUS has a real grip on Michelle, Mitt, well just standing there with

his hands at his side, doing the obligatory kiss thing. Says a lot about how these men feel about their spouse. Obama, very warm, Mittens, distant.

32. I tried Photobucket and couldn't understand their process so I found tinypic.com and

understood their process just fine. However, as I said above, I find it time consuming with a lot of steps when you are posting more than one image in a series (one by one). I was hoping the process would have been streamlined since I started uploading photos several years ago, but apparently not...

19. I used IMG option in photobucket...

It's in that menu off to the lower right of the pic you have displayed. It'll show email & IM, html, IMG, etc. You just click on the option to automatically copy the code, then paste it into your msg...

you only need to paste the address starting with http:// insert address here.jpg

26. First you print it out.

Then crop to the size you want.

Then, using a good musalige glue, affix it to your screen.

(Please don't do this. It will leave you wit a serious clean up problem.)
