1. He should have listened to dear old dad!

Of course, his father lost, too. History repeats itself.

22. Nah, George Sr. was an authentic guy who really connected with people.

That's why Nixon was so afraid of his candidacy.

26. Not to sour his good name but I've read he was

just as much a bastard as anybody.. sorry I don't have links
but whatever I read conveyed that Mitt's essentially a chip off
the old block, just maybe not as smart.

4. Mitt says, "Aw, Dad, you know I couldn't show my tax filings."

"I would have lost the election."

Wait...what?

7. that may be the stupidest thing Rmoney did or said

to think that he wanted to be President of the United States of America and cheat on his taxes, hide money in foreign banks and then try to cover it up is really really dumb

19. Yes it will.

He's an arrogant, condescending asshole, who after years of running for President, finally got the nomination. He thought he was a shoe in, but learned that his money couldn't gloss over his flaws and wasn't enough to buy him the Presidency.

My guess is he'll be even more bitter than McCain.

20. I Personally Think He's Weeping

Both him AND Annie.

I think they both went home and wept in each other's arms until they drifted to sleep.

He looked like he just came from balling his eyes out during his brief "impromptu" concession speech.

It was impromptu because the palooka really and truly THOUGHT he was gonna win.

Well, the American People had something to say about that.

LOL!!!

of Massachusetts would have been to have fireworks go off over Boston Harbor in celebration of a despised carpetbagger from Michigan.

Hey, Elizabeth Warren and MA's 61-38 percent thumbs-down on wrongney helped rehabilitate them! And very nicely, too!

16. From Michigan, and remember George - an honorable man.

Unlike his son. George Romney, before he became governor, was a key figure in the 1961-62 constitutional convention in Michigan. He made sure that civil rights was central to that rewrite, and fought those who said otherwise.

George and Lenore Romney were great people. They would have no role in today's GOP.

18. Mitt also forgot that his father was once a welfare recipient.

Government works, Mitt.

Government is not a source of shame.

I mean, support from the government isn't embarrassing, nothing like hiding for 90 minutes after getting your ass kicked in the election.

28. The ravages of Romnesia

...prevents Mitt from recalling and heeding those prophetic words.

Seriously, why did Romney ever run if he knew he couldn't abide by the minimal standards of disclosure.
