Breaking:Eric Cantor involved in outing of Petraeus

Just saw this at Politico...nowhere else.
http://www.politico.com/...

It appears the whistleblower contacted Cantor first...the he relayed it to the FBI

Ready for some wing nut head explosions in the morning?

This was a late Saturday news dump...how convenient.

I am sure Drudge will be updating his headline soon...?

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor spoke to an FBI whistle-blower two weeks ago who accused then-CIA Director David Petraeus of having an extramarital affair and potentially jeopardizing the security of classified information, according to a news report.
Cantorís chief of staff, Steve Stombres, later spoke with FBI officials to pass on the accusations from the whistle-blower, the New York Times reported on Saturday night.

Cantorís involvement in the Petraeus scandal is the first indication that anyone outside of the FBI knew Petraeus was under scrutiny for an extramarital relationship or potentially leaking classified information.

More below the copulating treble clefs.... CTC's as I prefer to call them

3. Why are we defending Petraeus? I am lost.

I am actually surprised if Cantor did the right thing.

4. I believe this has nothing to do with defending petraeus but throwing Cantor into

the faces of freepers who imagine that Obama was involved with this scandal.

6. Doesn't this damage Republicans further?

Doesn't the fact Cantor knew make him part of the mess somehow? Or am I just being optimistic?
