That overall there were more votes for the democrats than republicans if you sum up all the votes for house races.
If that is true it really goes to show just how wretched redistricting has been on us.

(7,290 posts)This won't be fixed unless the Supreme Court steps in or there is a Constitutional amendment. Few states, regardless of which party is in charge, are going to give up this power as granted to them by the Constitution.
I agree 100% that it needs to be fixed, but they aren't going to do it on their own, in most cases.

(7,290 posts)But frankly, I don't think they show anything other than massive Democratic turnout. The very fact that we have Congressional districts really makes this number meaningless.
