Ami Bera is widening his lead over Dan Lungren in absentee/provisional ballotsLast edited Sat Nov 10, 2012, 03:40 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1)
This is in the Sacramento, CA area. Bera used to be a couple hundred votes ahead of Lundgren. Now it's nearly a couple thousand. The dems are about to win another house seat. Goodbye Lungren!
(that is, unless Bera has already won--I think this is the most recent news on that race, but could be wrong) http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/nri/us-canada-news/US-election-Ami-Bera-widens-lead-in-California-poll/articleshow/17167375.cms

Last edited Sat Nov 10, 2012, 03:54 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) we're a lot closer. A reach out to anyone on the red side who is a relatively clear thinker, and I think we'll see more happening in Congress. Same with the Senate. Independents will caucus with dems, and after enticing two or three red formidibly sane red senators, there's super majority!
Across the pond we focused on the teaparty folks this election year. In 2014 we'll be looking to support anyone who is running against Rick Scott, anyone running against John Kasich (if he runs again), and anyone running against Bachmann. It's so important to get the Clowns out of Congress and dem governors in those swing states. |

2. Great news. Democrats put two people of Indian descent on a national stage and get rid

of a bastard in California while doing it.

5. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the eclectic nature of Congress for the next two years
|
It makes it so much more interesting and easy on the ears and brain cells to follow politics when reasonable non-self-serving people of all backgrounds are running the show.

3. Last I heard, Ami's lead was now more than 1700 votes.
|
My understanding is that we may not have the final word for a few days yet, but it's looking hopeful.
