Gamblers take heed. Might be smart to avoid Shelden Adelson's casinos for a while.

1. Good point

he was supposed to get his money back in spades from the government, now he'll have to screw his customers instead.

5. Too late. I'm a fan of SCRBethlehem because it quite literally helped save my post-Beth Steel city.

The enterprise is what has been built on the site of the defunct industry.

And I have concert tix for next month.

3. It wasn't so much making his money back, as he was hoping to have grateful Rmoney....

....Justice Department that would overlook and not investigate some of his potentially illegal business dealings with the Chinese government, re: his casino in Macau.

Adelson may have blustered about Obama "being a socialist," blah, blah, blah. But the truth is that he cannot control an Obama Justice Department, and now may be investigated.

4. It would also be good to avoid them just on principle.

We now know what he does with all of that money people lose in his casinos. We should refuse to give it to him.

I've only been in a casino maybe once or twice in my life. They don't get money from me.

6. His LV employees were mostly all-in for Obama

They had more of an impact than Sheldon did at the end of the day. Democracy is truly exquisite that way.

Let the Obama Administration go after Sheldon on taxes and the FCPA. Meantime, no harm at all in going to the Sands and leaving a nice tip for the wait staff.
