If it did, though, Boxer would be at the top. (this said with no intended offense to Franken.)

5. I could deal with that

I love her. She's kind of diminutive in stature though. She'd have to have her Gene Simmons heels on to do a town hall debate. Still a pitbull when it comes time to make an argument.

Anyone remember that skit? It had to be SNL.

6. On Nov. 11 Senator Boxer
|
will celebrate her 72 birthday. She is a member of the "Silent Generation". Many think Obama or perhaps his successor will be the last Boomer to gain the presidency and then a Gen Xer will ascend to that position. I have enormous respect for Sen. Boxer, but I think she would have little appeal for the for the 18 to 25 year-old voters of 2016.

16. Boxer's not a particularly good campaigner
|
She won her last election because the Republican party chose to run a blithering idiot who was soundly trounced in the primary in her home county and the adjacent ones.

Don't let the flag fool you ( dual citizen ... get to vote all over the place ) anyway, I'm not that fond of Hillary as a candidate. If she were the pick I'd vote for her but not my first choice.
Definitely not Bill though, not because he wouldn't be good but because he can run without running. Whoever gets the nod in 2016 will be able to be in 4 places at once. He or she will have 2 popular former presidents, who are also good at fundraising, out campaigning with them. So the candidate can be in Ohio, while the VP is in Pennsylvania, Clinton is in North Carolina and Obama is in Illinois ... and the next day they all shift. |
