40 yr old white male blue color in red state ... Voted for Obama

Union member

Build Cummins turbo diesels that go into Dodge Rams

My lively hood depended on the auto bailout.

I just wish more of my fellow white male coworkers could put aside hatred born out of ignorance to really stand up for what is right and important.

Thanks

Latinos, African Americans, women and the youth

You have my heart felt thanks

I personally HATE all of this race talk. I'm Black/Latino and hate all of this analysis so focused on race. Yes, it has to be brought up to show the changing demographics of America, but I don't like articles I see today entitled "Its the end of the world as straight white males know it". Not all straight white males voted for Romney. Yes, they overwhelmingly went for him in a number not seen since 1988, but I want us to get to a point where we just talk in terms of simply Democrats and Republicans, regardless of race. Again, I know we have to break down these things so that each side knows who they need to target, but all of the race talk just makes me uncomfortable.

The republicans have been making It about race since Nixon and has worked a long time but I think that time has finally passed or is passing.

This was the last "angry white man" election and that is what it was

The "angry white man" needs to grow up and face reality , face the reality that races and the government is not the cause of their problems, it's their own fault if they are not happy. Not Obama's or the Government.

And, hey, we did manage to give Mourdock the heave-ho. The country can thank us for that.

Yeah what an prick

He held up the bailout too

On top of other crap

Luger would have won again if tea baggers didn't vote him out.

They got their wish except it backfired

Compressed natural gas cars will one day be commonplace, and they will be fueled by natural gas produced in the U. S.

yet so many seem perfectly fine lecturing the young voters of today (who vote at a higher percentage than Gen X did at that age) on why they are stupid politically. Seriously I find a lot of GenX are very politically naive. They didn't inform themselves and vote in their teens and twenties and now are lost in a maze of modern politics.
