Christie Calls Obama To Congratulate-Sends Mitt E-Mail

Chris Christie, who last year dashed many Republicans’ hopes by turning down pleas to challenge President Barack Obama, says he had one word for Obama during a phone call last night:

Congratulations.

And Republican Mitt Romney, the man he endorsed a full year before the election, raised millions in cash for, stood with at campaign stops across the country and delivered the keynote address for at the party’s convention?

The New Jersey governor says he sent him an e-mail yesterday.

3. Dear Gov Christie;

You are brash and sometimes a loudmouth, but I think, deep down, there's decency within you. It bubbled to the surface during and after Sandy.

My advice to you: save your GOP from the nuts, or become a Democrat. Either way, you will earn a positive place in history.

Warm regards,
Cooley Hurd

5. remember when Lawrence O'Donnell gave him a standing Ovation on his show?

I forget the subject matter, something about nutjobs still claiming Obama is a Muslim or some such bullshit.

10. I don't want him to. I want him to save the GOP from the loons.

A 2 party system works well in the US, provided both parties are SANE!

11. As has been said...

I'd rather have him INSIDE the tent pissing OUT, than OUTSIDE pissing IN.
Besides, I think in his heart of hearts he's really a Democrat.

8. I think Christie actually cares about Jersey

and knows that he needs the POTUS and the feds to get it back on its feet after Sandy. He's a blowhard and a dick, but he's not a monster.

12. I Know Fatboy's The Man Of The Moment, But...

I don't want someone the likes of him in my party.

He's a bit repugnant, and I'm not talking about just his physical rotundness and otherwise sloppiness.

He's rude and crude...I don't like, nor do I respect that.

But that's just me.
