10. The map shows that the bigger or better educated the county, the better President Obama did.

The President was able to run up big margins in educated and big counties that offset the vote in the reactionary, deep red counties. But, to the point, the people of Florida should be ashamed. What if the fate of the election depended on their vote, would we have a 2000 on steroids? The election system down there is a pathetic joke. Scott and the SOS should be voted out for this fiasco alone.

4. Looks like Obama's margin is still big enough that

an autiomatic recount will not be necessary. Is it a less than 0.5% lead that triggers the automatic recount in Florida?

6. Yep, and he's over 0.6%, thanks to the Libertarians!

He'd have less than a 10,000 vote margin if all the Libertarians had voted for Romney.

8. A lot of Floridians stood in line for HOURS,

some into the wee hours of the morning just so that their vote could count.

I'm sure they are happy for your support.

11. Absolutely agree.

Florida has it's problems (their Governor for instance), but alienating an entire state on a liberal / Democratic website isn't going to help one bit.

22. Yes they did! Count every last ballot!

If it takes another day or two, so be it. Count the votes!

It won't change the outcome, but count 'em anyway, in honor of those who stood lin line for hour upon hour to cast their ballots--many, I'm sure, for the first time.

Count 'em.

19. The feeling stands

I didn't say fuck Floridians. I said fuck Florida.

While I APPRECIATE the people of Florida standing in line to cast their vote, I'm talking about the state in general and its dominance over the last several presidential elections, it's so-called leaders who do everything they can to stifle the vote—so, yeah, FUCK Florida.

They have been irrelevant to this election and that, to my mind, is a GOOD thing.
