Message To The Republiban...these things NO LONGER WORK FOR YOU!

Appeals to racism.

Appeals to homophobia.

Appeals to sexism.

Appeals to McCarthyism.

The defense of privilege.

The glorification of "the good old days" that never really existed.

The refusal to accept that we're ALL Americans.

Arrogance.

Paranoia.

Spite.

If you guys ever want to win again, you have to give up ALL OF THE ABOVE!

Don't know if any of you will get it...and in fact it would help OUR side if you didn't...but this is the reality of American politican life, as proved by last night's results.

1. And the crazy thing, they don't even see it.

Blind, terribly blind.

3. Bad for the country...but good for US in the long run.

This country doesn't want the president to be the Bully-in-chief.

2. As I am reading this I'm at my mother's house

she's asleep in front of Katie Couric, she has on Bill O'Liarly to talk about the election. It's not all that much different from what I've heard all over the stinking media from ABC to NPR. Republican spin, even now.

4. On a recent stroll thru Freepville, I notice that they have really

latched on to the "takers and makers" theme. They really think (like Mittens) that fully half of this country are worthless parasites.

8. racist rhetoric: the gift that keeps on giving

they use that meme against the President because he is black, and against his supporters because we supposedly want a "welfare state," especially us black people with "slave mentalities." they see themselves as makers, and everyone else as takers, regardless of what they actually contribute to society.
the hubris of these people is astounding

9. As is the stupidity. The REALLY believe

That EVERYBODY on public assistance could get a McJob instantly if they just tried, and that THAT would end poverty. And that being unable to afford healthcare is proof that you're unworthy of survival.

11. just world fallacy

the buy it: hook, line and sinker...except when something goes awry in their own lives when my UI ran out earlier this year, i had to get GA. my social worker told me about one of his other clients...a guy who used to make over 200k per year and lost everything. the guy said he used to pass by the GA office and bemoan all the "losers" standing outside, until he was one of them. thankfully he awakened. yeah...sometimes hard time befall even the "chosen ones."

10. Don't tell them that!!! If anything, we should be encouraging them

to double-down on their extremist positions all across the board. I actually want them to keep it up with the misogynist/racist/homophobic stuff; it makes us look even more reasonable by comparison.

Chances are, they will let the inmates keep running the asylum, anyway.

12. Wasn't actually expecting them to TAKE the advice.

Just putting it out there for them to see(or, more likely, overlook).
