Without the state legislatures a Party cannot control the national budget.

And without control of the national budget a Party cannot control the national agenda.

The House of Representatives is a FRAUD. As long as redistricting allows state legislatures to select their state's Congressional delegation, and people are corrupt enough to use it as such, the House of Representatives will tend to be of whichever party controls the most states on the local level.

And that is just what it is.

The four-year Pelosi House was an aberration. Since the census of 1990 the House has been a "naturally" Republican body.

For the long-term prospects of the US, step one was keeping the Supreme Court centrist, rather than drifting further to nut-right, which we have done. (The Supreme Court justices we get through this Senate will not be raging liberals, but won't be tea-party loons either.)

Step two is to have control of most state legislatures right after the census of 2020.
