So Romney did concede, (And some analysis of GOP future)

and it was quite gracious against all morning predictions yesterday.

I guess, I should be shocked or something.

Oh wait... in this case, all I have to say is I TOLD YOU SO.

Romney, unlike all the predictions and ideas here, IS NOT a man to set up a government in exile or lead the revolt. And once it was over 300 EV it was pretty much over.

Now to ease the crow eating, we covered the Rs last night. There was no joy in mudville. My local Republican Party had a really, and i mean this, a really bad night. They were hoping against hope that their man would pull a Florida in Ohio, that is until a few others came in, including the West Coast.

The mood changed from 2004 DU at around the same time, to despair, and utter unbelieving it. I mean, they held hope until FOX (yup the channel on at the party) finally called it.

Now as to the possible violence, yes it is still very posible, especially as WHITE, CHRISTIAN, FUNDIE Republicans find themselves in a tough spot. They are finding just how much the country has changed and for god sakes, when Dick Morris gets it, you know they are in trouble.

As to the GOP, yes, I can still see it going away if a series of conditions are met.

What is true is that for the MOMENT, the GOP is a SOUTHERN REGIONAL PARTY. They have tough choices to make, and in some ways this 1964 all over again. If they kick the crazy uncle out... they have a chance to regain their place as one of the two parties. They go the way of the California GOP... no, not really. They will become a permanent minority regional party. And a party that is also a religious party.

to drown in a bathtub. I am not going to help them by telling them what they need to do to redeem themselves and come back stronger, win over some Hispanics or whatnot. Nope. I won't even write it here because I don't want them to read it.

Far as I am concerned, they get ZERO help from me and the worse off they get, the happier and more hopeful for my country I will be.

I know what they have to do, you know what they have to do... look at the CA Republican party...all I am gonna say is... California is pretty much leading here... the Republican Party in California is pretty much a MINORITY party.

It's difficult to take anything seriously from someone when the point is mostly to say I TOLD YOU SO.
