Freeper post election meltdown: "freeloaders...their lifestyle doesn't seem too bad"

Goyta love right wing welfare envy. Actual free republic comment:

Sometimes I ask myself why am I still working, 38 years and counting.

I've seen these freeloaders and their lifestyle doesn't seem too bad except they are not worn out from physical labor and stress like I am.

Really, maybe I should get on the gravy train too.

And

I saw ABC’s election coverage and they showed a bunch of young Obama supporters, mostly college kids, cheering their heads off. I saw that and thought don’t these dolts know that they’re the ones who will be paying off this massive debt we’ve accumulated? Unfortunately, we’re no longer a country of strivers and achievers. We’ve turned into a country of freeloaders and moochers. The rest of the world is licking its chops and ready to feast on the carcass of the once proud and strong United States.

I hear this from right wingers a lot: why work if you can just live off welfare? If you want a meaningless, thoughtless, austere, unredeeming, numb life then yeah go on the dole. They talk about valuing hard work only to be tempted by freeloaders?

Poverty has got to be the hardest job of all. Sure, let them try and see how fun it actually is.

"Living on the dole" means accepting a life of poverty.

living the good life to try it. And be glad they have the FREEDOM to do so. Stop being jealous and quit your jobs, run down to the Welfare office and get your freebies.

None of them ever take me up on it, which tells me that they do know, deep down, that it is not as easy as they imagine it to be.

..............they always have some bullshit canned response about why they won't. It's always, "I have too much self-respect to ever live off of someone else," and other such nonsense. That's the way it always goes. They complain that the poor have it so good, I tell them that if they really believe it, to go do it themselves, they back away patting themselves on the back about how good they are.

Well, fuck my life, but go figure. Guess I'm going to hop on board tomorrow and file for Medicaid and food stamps, well, maybe I'll just get disability, see if I can get TAFT for my cats, and demand all of my father's money because he makes it and I don't, because he busts his ass, and I apparently shouldn't care. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I guess I need to try and start getting pregnant now, too. I don't really want to, but that's another check in the mail, right?
