There is no practical negative effect of somebody on DU expressing their personal anxiety. Not one single person in America is going to change their mind and not vote because somebody on DU expressed anxiety.
If somebody is freaked out about something then say something reassuring, or don't say anything.
It does not promote calm to denounce DUers worried about voter suppression as weakling, trolls and hysterics.
I think Obama will win.
I also think we will see unprecedented sabotage of the electoral process in heavily African-American precincts in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
And it is natural to worry about that, of course.
Calm and reassuring is better.

(5,420 posts)Anyone with a low post count better just keep quiet today if they don't want the "your concern is noted, trolls" on their ass.
Them trying to convince people that all is well in regards to election fraud is much like Joey S laughing off Howard Dean this morning when he brought it up.
Laughing it off and acting like it's tinfoil time, is a republican technique ,and it makes me wonder how many of those calling the low post count people trolls, are actually the trolls.
