Over 20 ballot questions in MD - Long, slow lines

There are over 20 state/county questions on my ballot in Maryland. What is usually a quick and easy process has become very slow. Is this the new GOP strategy to get signatures and put a ton of questions on the ballot in order to slow down the voting process? I can't even imagine what the lines would look like had we not had early voting.

On top of that, of the 6 machines at my location, 1 froze up and still wasn't working by the time I left. The poor lady who was using it had to stand there and wait for them to fix it. We have the Diebold machines.

In Anne Arundel county. It is easy if you read the voter guide, but I don't think most people do that. It is very cumbersome to read the full text of the question on the crappy Diebold voting machine, such low resolution and big font.

They know it means fewer working people will be allowed to vote since it takes longer.
