A couple comments from the crowd at Obama's last rally.

One gentleman who lives in a popular, rather exclusive lake community said that there were a lot of Romney signs in front of the homes there. He said that there are a lot of Obama supporters living there, but they didn't put out signs for fear of retribution. Unfortunately, I've heard of that type of intimidation before.

Another comment that was made was that a lot of wives are letting their husbands have their Romney signs, and bumper stickers. The women, though, will be voting for Obama. They just don't let their husbands know. I know I've read of that comment here before, but even here in moderate central Iowa, it appears to be occurring.

At least, being in the middle of the crowd last night, on a cool and breezy evening, we all stayed warm!!

Today's Republican party really has become very, very thuggish (hat tip to DUer, malaise).

We need to change that and many other things starting tomorrow morning. No more right-wing, batshit crazy bullshit dominating the airwaves and the national narrative.

FORWARD!!!!!

and I put up a yard sign and a sign in my window in case someone took my yard sign. My husband was worried and not really thrilled I put out my signs . I told him it has to start somewhere and sure enough by the end of the week we started to see more Obama signs.

we have 6 Obama votes in my house. Sure hope Ohio does it. I can't vote till after work tonight. 6:30 ..

Republicans have stolen over 500 Obama campaign signs. As soon as one goes up, it gets stolen. (These signs have been in right aways, signs in people's yards SEEM to have been left alone.) It's really depressing to drive through the area and see hundreds of Romney signs and virtually no Obama signs. The local Democratic headquarters tried replacing them for a while, but they couldn't keep up with the theft. I put the blame squarely on the local Republican party. Don't know that they were directly responsible, but they are obnoxious and thuggish (and made up mostly of rich retired folks with nothing better to do) and they could have made an appeal to their supporters to stop stealing signs but not a peep - other than a quote in the local media whinning that "both side do it" and "we don't have anything to do with this" which is both bullshit and typical.

Sadly, Romney will win big in this county. :- (
